PGSOB 4XI (C) Vs Teign A

Whilst the result was disappointing the quality of our play was not. It was as good as last weeks performance -against a strong and experienced opposition. Two of their goals came from short corners - which were drag flicked and one came from a stroke which Isaac got a stick to but couldn't keep out. Our goal also came from a short -swept in by Tom langrishe after the keeper had mad a save.

What the performance showed was how far we have progressed as a team and what we need to do next. The shape was good. Playing out from the back was good. Players know their roles. The press was set and called. What we need to do next is be half a second quicker to control the ball and half a yard quicker to move off opposition players to offer ourselves a s a pass option. This wiil be the aim for next week and the second half of the season.
